Elizabeth River Project
The Elizabeth River Project is an organization composed of citizens, businesses, schools, and government working together to restore the river. The Elizabeth River, a tributary of the Chesapeake bay, has been infamous for pollution. Their goal is to restore the Elizabeth River to the highest practical level of environmental quality through government, business, and community partnerships.

City of Norfolk
Norfolk, Virginia is the most dynamic,authentic, urban waterfront community in America. It was named a 2016 All-America City by the National Civic League. It is a city of some 247,189 residents and more than 100 diverse neighborhoods. It is the cultural, educational, business and medical center of Hampton Roads, hosts the world's largest naval base, the region's international airport and is one of the busiest international ports on the East Coast of the United States.

Lake Taylor Civic League
The Lake Taylor Civic League provides an opportunity for all residents, both members and non-members, to come together to meet their neighbors, discuss local concerns and devise ways to improve the Norfolk community. Specifically, they work to improve city resiliency against coastal storms.
